Dear Parent/Guardian:

Poth ISD has implemented ParentPortal a student information system by txConnect (Texas Connect), that allows parents/guardians to view their child's progress at Poth ISD.

The intent of this site is to enable the parent or guardian to monitor their child's progress with regards to assignments, grades, and attendance in a easy to use Website based service. The ParentPortal service displays what your child's teachers have posted in their grade books for your child's Grades and Attendance. Please remember that this is a tool to enable the district, teachers, and parents or guardians attain the fullest potential for the student.

Please remember the grades you see might not include all assignments or tests that have been completed by your child. Also, keep in mind that some assignments take longer to grade than others.  Each teacher has a different schedule for posting grades, once new grades are posted by a teacher you will have instant access to the new information. If you have questions about any of these items, please contact the teacher via email or phone.

The district will not be responsible for your inability to access ParentPortal, unless the problem is with our server.

Pop-up blockers must be disabled for ParentPortal to function correctly. Web enhancements may also prevent ParentPortal from functioning correctly. Be sure you disable pop-up blockers and disable (or uninstall) any web browser enhancements you may have.

To use ParentPortal you will first need to setup an user account.

NOTE: ParentPortal access information will be mailed home with the first progress report

NOTE: ParentPortal will not be available until that time.

To gain access to your child's Grades and Attendance after you have setup your account, you will need your child's:

ParentPortal ID

 and

Birth date (format: MM/DD/YYYY)

You will receive your child's ParentPortal ID with the first progress report.

The campuses/district will not release this information over the phone.
