- Be sure to give breaks when needed.
- student may need hand over hand assistance
- use highlighter in accommodations bag to highlight for emphasis
- give them time to process, 5 seconds is good then assist if needed
- give verbal prompts
- use math chart or manipulatives
- use math charts- number line for adding or subtracting, rounding chart, 100s chart, alphabet
- read each question and answer choices if there are choices
