Course Description
Using your Calendar Binder/folder review: (you can find lots of songs for these concepts on youtube.com. Simply type in ex. _______ song and choose one. Have child sing along, or move to the song. I did upload our Circle time songs!
- Rules
- Review home rules or click on classroom rules
- Season/Weather
- Have them look outside, describe what they see then find it in the binder
- Shape
- Show them the shape of the week and have them find it in the binder
- have them find the shape in the house
- Color
- Show them the color of the week and have them find it in the binder
- have them find the color in the house
- Letter
- Show them the letter of the week and tell them the sound it makes have them tell you its name and repeat the sound. Then find it in the binder.
- find things in the house that begin with that letter
- Number
- click on Number song 1-20 or Big number song count to 100. Have them get up and dance, count along, etc.
- Show them the number of the week, count the pictures and find it in the binder
- Month
- Click on months of the year song. Have them get up sing and dance to the music.
- Count the months
- Find the month in the binder
- Day
- Click on the days of the year song. Have them get up sing and dance to the music.
- Count the days
- Find in the binder
