A little about me, Mrs. Luna.

Hello Everyone and Welcome to Mrs. Luna's Science Webpage.  A little about myself first.  I was born and raised here in Poth, Texas.  I attended Poth Elementary, Junior High and High school. I am a 2000 graduate of Poth High School and went on to get my Bachelors from Texas A & M Kingsville.  I adore this little town and the community, so much so, that I decided to stick around and raise my very own family here as well. I have been teaching for 12 years and I have been in Poth for 8 of those 12 years.  I am so lucky to be here and truly believe I have found my fit in this big world with teaching 7th and 8th grade Science.  I am married with three daughters.  Kyrah, who is 18 and a Senior at Poth High school.  Kadym, who just turned 13 and is in the 8th grade at Poth Junior High.  And Kenli, who is 12 and a 7th grader at Poth Junior High.  My husband, Tommy Luna, also attended Poth Elementary, Junior High and High School.  (I guess you can figure out where we met!)  My husband and I take pride in our community and our alma mater.  You may see us around at sporting events and community gatherings.  We love playing and watching sports and love to cheer on our Poth Pirates and Pirettes.  Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoyed learning a little about me.
