ESSA Private Nonprofit School Equitable Services Outreach

 

Non-public schools notification of services:


Private, non-profit schools interested in learning more about federally funded programs and services provided by Poth ISD, are invited to contact the district at the information below.


Private, non-profit schools that elect to receive services must comply with all requisite federal policies and procedures. All services are coordinated through Local Education Agencies (LEAs). If you believe you may be eligible for services or for additional information, please contact Braden Lyssy, CFO, at [email protected] or 830-484-3330 by August 31, 2022.


Federal program services available to eligible private school students, parents/guardians and teachers are: Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Part B (IDEA-B); IDEA-B Preschool Program; Title I, Part A, Improving the Academic Achievement of the Disadvantaged; Title I, Part C, Migrant Education Program; Title II, Part A, Teacher and Principal Training and Recruiting Fund; and Title III, English Language Acquisition,  Language Enhancement & Academic Achievement Act.
